Jolie takes number one spot although she does not appear
in big screen in three years, while Jennifer Lawrence is number two with a $7
million gap and Kristen Stewart is the third.
Angelina Jolie is named Hollywood's highest-paid actress
by Forbes. Jolie tops the list with approximately $33 million in earnings
between June 2012 and July 2013, defeating other starlets such as Jennifer
Lawrence and Kristen Stewart.
Jolie's latest movie was 2010's "The Tourist"
which she starred alongside Johnny Depp. The action film raked in $278 million
on $100 million budget. Although she has not appeared in big screens for three
years, the "Salt" actress made directorial debut in a Bosnian war movie
"In the Land of Blood and Honey". Jolie next will appear in a 2014
Walt Disney movie "Maleficent". She reportedly received $15 million
to star in the Sleeping Beauty-themed movie.
The second spot on the list is taken by Jennifer
Lawrence, who banked approximately $26 million between June 2012 and July 2013.
The award-winning actress took the center stage in 2012 after she starred in
successful projects, such as "Silver Linings Playbook" and "The
Hunger Games". Lawrence, who was paid less than $1 million to play Katnis
Everdeen, reportedly received $10 million salary to star in its sequel
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" after the first movie collected
$690 million on a budget of $80 million.
Kristen Stewart takes the third spot on this year's list
with approximately $22 million in earnings, after topping the list in 2012.
Stewart, however, will probably not be able to make it on the next list as her
earnings keeps dropping after she starred in smaller films. Her recent flick
"On the Road" earned $8.7 million at the box office.
