Who doesn't love a little family time at the beach?
The weather was a balmy 80 degrees in Los Angeles this
weekend, so Britney Spears and her two boys, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James,
6, took advantage of the warm temps and headed up the coast to Santa Barbara.
Britney, who rocked a red #26 T-shirt and her signature
cut-off jean shorts, looked like she was having a ball playing in the waves
with her boys and building sand castles. Her two cute kids with ex-husband
Kevin Federline both sported Hawaiian surf shirts and colorful board shorts.
It’s been a busy weekend for the Spears family. The
“Scream and Shout” singer’s little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 21, announced her
engagement to boyfriend of three years, Jamie Watson. The excited bride-to-be,
who has 4-year-old daughter with ex-fiancé, Casey Aldrige, posted a photo on
Instagram showing off her new sparkler.
Despite ending her own engagement to fiancé of one year,
Jason Trawick, three months ago, Britney seemed overjoyed about her sister’s
happy news and tweeted, “So excited and happy for my sister, congrats
@jamielynnspears - love you."
While her own love life is at a standstill, the former “X
Factor” judge is busy back at work in the studio and dished to her fans about
her latest project on Twitter. “I'm at the studio recording a new song for my
boys. They are going to freak out when they hear it. So excited!”
Spending the day with her boys and a new song in the
works? It sounds like Britney has the perfect recipe for a great weekend.
