The Super Eagles midfielder has disclosed that he will
finally choose one of the numerous European clubs that are bidding to sign him
by the end of the week
Nigeria midfielder Sunday Mba will make his intentions
known this weekend on the club he would like to play for in Europe.
About ten European clubs are presently trying to woo the
attacking midfielder who shone like a million stars during the 2013 Africa Cup
of Nations where he scored the winning goals against Ivory Coast and Burkina
Faso in the quarter final and final.
Mba who is holidaying in Jos contrary to media reports
(not Goal.com) that he has travelled out of the country spoke through his
manager, Chike Onyeacho that he is not moved by the large number of clubs that
are itching to have his services because at the end of this week, he will settle
for one of them that will meet his demands.
Mba who directed all enquiries about him to the manager
is however hopeful that he will sign for a club that will help improve his
game.
Chike Onyeacho who spoke to Goal.com confirmed that Mba
will make his decision known this weekend.
"I have received more than ten mails from clubs who
are eager to have his services. But we have to look at every one of them to
weigh the options and see whether they meet up with what we want,” said
Onyeacho.
"The offers have come from Turkey, Germany, Russia
and England. Right now I cannot tell you that Mba is due to travel to any of
the countries, because apart from advising and guiding him, the final decision
rests on what he wants.
"But be rest assured that his priority will be to
sign for the team that will further help improve his game in all ramifications.
"Nigerians will have an idea of which club he will
play for next week," Onyeacho said.
On the home front, Nigeria Premier League clubs Warri
Wolves and Enugu Rangers are fighting a raging battle over the ownership of the
player.
Onyeacho would not comment on the controversy.
