West Bromwich Albion will offer Scott Sinclair a way out
of Manchester City, the Daily Telegraph has reported, with Head Coach Steve
Clarke keen to seal the signing before the Baggies’ first Premier League
fixture of the new season.
The Albion play Southampton on Saturday and Clarke is
hopeful of wrapping up the deal to sign Sinclair before then, with a fee of £4m
mooted following a season-long loan at the Hawthorns. City have however
rejected West Brom’s initial approach, with West Brom reluctant to pay the £2m
loan fee demanded by Manuel Pellegrini’s club.
