Daily Telegraph reporter Jeremy Wilson has told talkSPORT
that he believes Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal may make a final attempt to sign
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The Gunners have recently failed with a
£40,000,001 bid for the Uruguayan amid confusion over a clause in the player’s
contract.
Arsenal’s latest bid was believed by the player to
trigger a clause that would allow him to move, but Liverpool and the
Professional Footballers’ Association have since confirmed that the clause
merely obligated the Reds to tell Suarez of an official bid.
