Manchester United and Liverpool will battle amongst a
number of European sides for the signature of Lazio midfielder Antonio
Candreva.
The Italian international is currently co-owned with
Udinese but Lazio feel they can secure the other 50% of his transfer at the end
of the season for a fee thought to be around £5.8million.
However the Premier League giants will also look to lock
horns with Lazio as they both aim to bolster their squads.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form in Serie A
this season scoring eight times from 30 matches.
According to talkSPORT, Lazio may struggle to match his
wage demands as he seeks a pay rise but Juventus and Napoli are also closely
monitoring his situation.
The winger, who can also play in a central role, has had
18 caps for Italy since making his international debut in 2009.
He scored a last minute winner against Parma last
weekend.
