Christmas Special - EPL Players visit local hospitals to spread festive cheer

Plenty of Barclays Premier League clubs have visited local hospitals in the run up to Christmas. Here’s a selection of the club’s photos compiled from respective club’s official website.


Arsenal players paid their annual festive visit to children at the Whittington Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Here, Thomas Vermaelen, Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker, Santi Cazorla, Mikel Arteta and Wojciech Szczesny meeting young patients and their parents and handing out gifts.


The Chelsea squad handed out presents and treats to the children at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.




Liverpool’s first-team players and staff took time out from their preparations for the busy festive period to bring some Christmas cheer to Alder Hey children’s hospital.


City players took time out from their preparations for the busy festive period to sprinkle a touch of Christmas cheer to children at their annual visit to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.


The Manchester United squad had split into two and headed to The Christie and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital armed with hundreds of United goodies which had been wrapped by the club’s youth players and staff at the Aon Training Complex.
