Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will have a decision to
make as Spanish club Atletico Madrid are planning to offer 25-year old
Brazilian striker Diego Costa to the Blues in exchange for Belgian goalkeeping
prodigy, Thibaut Courtois.
Courtois, 21, is on loan at Atletico Madrid from Chelsea
for a 3rd successive season, but the Blues’ manager Jose Mourinho wants the
Belgian to return to England next season.
Mourinho reportedly intends to send Courtois on loan to
another Premier League club next season before he comes back to the Chelsea
set-up as a replacement for veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Courtois, meanwhile is very highly rated in Spain and Atletico
are willing to sell their star striker Diego Costa for his services.
Alternatively the Madrid based club could also offer 21-year old Spanish
international midfielder Koke to Chelsea as they scrap hard to keep the
Belgian.
The Daily Mirror reports that Chelsea manager Jose
Mourinho may have a tough decision to make next month as he could be tempted to
sign Atletico’s prolific forward Diego Costa, given the lack of goals from his
insipid strike-force of Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres this season.
