Chelsea and Manchester United are battling to secure
Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso on a pre-contract agreement. Reports last week
suggested United boss David Moyes was leading the race to sign the Real Madrid
ace, however, it is now understood that Jose Mourinho wants a reunion with
