Francesco Guidolin admitted that Udinese put in one of
their worst performances since he became coach of the club against Inter on
Sunday.
The Zebrette were soundly beaten 3-0 at the Stadio Friuli
by the visiting Nerazzurri.
“Today we played badly and it was one of the worst home
games since I came here,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“To give an explanation of the performance is complicated
and difficult, it is always hard when you give away two goals from set pieces.
“We deserved to lose, but defeat is a bitter pill to
swallow.
“Inter did well but we were missing. In the second half
had more pride but that is the only positive note together with the fact we
played with a young team.
“Now we have to start working again. Grit our teeth and
work with maximum determination.”
