The French trainer was pleased with his side after
watching them cruise to victory thanks in part to two goals from Edinson Cavani.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc says everything
came together for his team as they cruised to a 4-0 victory over Lorient on
Friday.
Two goals from Edinson Cavani followed strikes from Lucas
Moura and Jeremy Menez as the Ligue 1 leaders recorded their first victory over
Christian Gourcuff’s side at Parc des Princes in four seasons.
The three points moves les Parisiens three points clear
of Monaco at the top of the table, although the Ligue 1 newcomers have a game
in hand, and Blanc was pleased with the way his team capitalised on their
opportunities.
“This was a very good result, a well brought victory,” he
told reporters after the match. “We took the opportunities provided to us early
in the game.
“We came in to fruition. After that, things were much easier.
“We must remember we won the game, even though there were
a few more wasted opportunities in the second half.”
Brazilian defender Marquinhos agreed with his coaches
comments, but claims the victory was not as straightforward as it seemed.
“It was not an easy game, contrary to what the score
suggests,” he told BeIn Sport.
“We had put the ball on the ground and moved forward
well.
“[In the Champions League] we must now go on the field
and impose our game and show what we have done every time this season.”
PSG will host Anderlecht in the Champions League on
Wednesday in their fourth group stage clash.
