Cagliari Coach Diego Lopez identifies the dangers that
lie in facing Inter this afternoon, but has to revamp his midfield.
The game kicks off at the Stadio Rocco in Trieste at
14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT), click here for a match preview. It’s still in
Trieste because the Stadio Sant’Elia has not completed reconstruction work.
“Inter have many dangerous, experienced and talented
players,” said Lopez in his Press conference.
“Walter Mazzarri gave the team his ideas and mentality.
We must be wary of their counter-attacks, because when they win back possession
they are very quick and can hurt us.”
The Sardinians are without Albin Ekdal and Andrea Cossu,
so have to make changes in midfield.
“In the trequartista role we can have Ibraimi, Radja
Nainggolan or Matias Cabrera. We’re missing two important elements, but I have
valid alternatives, even if they have different characteristics.
“We are not afraid of Inter. We already showed away to
Milan that Cagliari will try to attack any team in any arena. We know that we
play good football, although that doesn’t automatically mean we get good
results.”
