Barcelona are reported to be keen on Chelsea goalkeeper
Petr Cech as they target a replacement for Victor Valdes. Valdes looked set to
leave the Nou Camp in the summer but Barca managed to persuade him to stay on
and he will now move on at the end of the season instead.
It has given the Catalan giants extra time to find a replacement and Cech is said to be high on their wanted list if he is willing to leave Stamford Bridge in search of a fresh challenge.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho would be reluctant to let him go but with 21-year-old star Thibaut Courtois waiting in the wings, the Portuguese could be willing to sanction the move.
There have even been suggestions a swap deal could be on the cards that would see Valdes move to Chelsea with Cech going the other way.
