Barcelona have reportedly had a bid for Liverpool
defender Daniel Agger rejected, while Jose Mourinho has supposedly told Barca
that they are "wasting their time" with their pursuit of David Luiz

Speaking in a press conference in Malaysia, the
midfielder said: "My dream is to play here. I’ve never thought about
leaving. I am at the best club." United responded on Wednesday afternoon
when a spokesman said: "We appreciate Cesc is a contracted player at
Barcelona and completely respect everything Cesc has said today."

Daniel Agger's Liverpool future is now in doubt after
Barcelona stepped up their pursuit of the defender to add to Brendan Rodgers’
mounting problems. Liverpool are understood to have received an official bid
for Agger - – who, like Suarez, also missed last night’s friendly with
Valerenga – from Barcelona in the region of £15m after the Spaniards identified
him as their first choice. It was rejected, but Liverpool are braced for a
renewed offer and £25m would test their resolve.

Both Tello and Dos Santos are the only players in the
travelling party that played no part in the game with Thailand. But they could
both feature in Saturday’s final game of the preseason. The winger’s left thigh
injury seems to be behind him, and Dos Santos no longer seems to be having any

their attempts to land David Luiz, insisting the Spaniards are 'wasting their
time'. 'The bid? It's lost time for them,' said Mourinho. 'My advice to them is
to go to the second player on their list because they are wasting their time.

Valencia defender Aly Cissokho says he is ready to join
Liverpool FC if a deal can be agreed with his current club. "Liverpool
have made me an offer and it is true that I have reached an agreement with
them," French football website Le 10 Sport report him to have
said."It is now up to the clubs to agree terms. I expect to know more
later this week."

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with
Miroslav Djukic's side after completing his medical. Valencia has paid Zaragoza
a reported 3 million euros for the Portuguese forward, who scored 14 goals in

from being relegated. If Postiga nets 15 goals for the Mestalla outfit,
