The Belgian has suggested he was forced out of Stamford Bridge on deadline day, but the Chelsea boss has challenged him to reveal the real reasons behind the move.

Jose Mourinho has called on Romelu Lukaku to come clean about his reasons for leaving Chelsea on loan in the summer.

The Belgian forward joined Everton for the 2013-14 campaign on transfer deadline day, but has reportedly made suggestions he was forced to leave Stamford Bridge.

The striker, on loan at Everton, says he has not heard from anyone at Stamford Bridge in a couple of months and has to do what is best for his career.

Romelu Lukaku has indicated he would consider leaving Chelsea for Everton permanently, if the Goodison Park club earn a place in the Champions League this season.

The Belgian, on loan for the second season in a row after spending the 2011-12 campaign at West Brom, made the move to Everton on transfer deadline day.

FIFA say Tottenham were wrong to allow keeper Hugo Lloris to play on against Everton after losing consciousness.

The France international was caught in the head when he collided with Romelu Lukaku late on in Sunday's goalless draw.

Tuesday, 3 September 2013

Everton have completed deals to sign Wigan midfielder James McCarthy and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

McCarthy joins for a fee in the region of £12million, while Lukaku makes the move to Goodison Park on loan.

Everton had been linked with Republic of Ireland international McCarthy for some time but the transfer appeared to be off after Latics chairman Dave Whelan baulked at the idea of the fee being paid in instalments.

A deal has now been thrashed out though and the 22-year-old will be back playing in the Premier League having been relegated with Athletic last season.

Valencia Line Up Loan Move For Chelsea's Senegalese Striker Demba Ba

Saturday, 10 August 2013

Valencia are launching a bid for a new striker from Chelsea.

The Daily Mail says Valencia are keen to take either Senegalese forward Demba Ba or Romelu Lukaku on loan as they look to replace Roberto Soldado.

Fernando Torres has previously been discussed, but it seems the Spanish side will look beyond the Chelsea striker and aim for his team-mates instead.

Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has returned to Spain with Valencia on a season-long loan deal in June, having previously played for Barcelona.
