Napoli Defender Eyed By Manchester City

Napoli defender Paolo Cannavaro is thought to be a target of Premier League side Mancherster City.

The Napoli captain has been marginalized in the team, as the new coach Rafael Benitez prefers Miguel Britos, Raul Albiol and Federico Fernandez rather than the 32-year-old centre-back in his 4-2-3-1 system.

According to Talksport, after some scouting on Cannavaro last summer, Manchester City are ready to bid for him in winter.

Mourinho: Terry is back to his best

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes John Terry is back to top form after a frustrating season under Rafael Benitez last term.

The former England captain was used sparingly by Benitez during his spell as interim boss at Stamford Bridge last season.

Terry has also been plagued by injuries to his ankle and back in recent seasons, bringing into question his long-term future at the club with his contract due to expire next season.
