Evan Rachel Wood Steps Out First Time Since Giving Birth in July

Saturday, 7 September 2013

The new mom is caught on camera wearing a t-shirt and jeans combo while shopping at Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles.

Evan Rachel Wood has finally resurfaced more than a month after giving birth to her first child, a baby boy, in July this year. She stepped out solo for a shopping trip to Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles, showing off her post-baby body in a dark t-shirt, white jeans and boots.

Wood delivered her son in a "natural home birth." Her husband Jamie Bell tweeted back then, "Evan you are my warrior! You never cease to amaze. Thank you for birthing our son so naturally & peacefully. You did it!" She wrote him back, "And you are mine :) thank you for being there and helping me through it. I love you both more than words can say."

Lamar Odom Did Not Go to Rehab, Received Treatment for DUI-Related Issues

New report says Khloe Kardashian's husband didn't go to a drug treatment center but received a treatment for issues related to his DUI arrest.

Confusion surrounding Lamar Odom's rumored one-day rehab stint is cleared up. According to Los Angeles Times, the former Lakers and Clippers player who is now a free agent actually hasn't entered any rehab center.

Two people with knowledge of the situation explain that the troubled NBA star did receive a treatment, not for his drug problems, but for issues related to his recent arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Miguel Charged With Two Counts of Drunk Driving

The 'Adorn' singer has been charged with 2 counts of DUI in relation to his August 15 arrest in Los Angeles.

Following his arrest on August 15 in Los Angeles for driving while intoxicated, R'n'B crooner Miguel has now been charged with two counts of DUI. After being subjected to the breathalyzer and other field sobriety tests, the 27-year-old singer found his blood alcohol level back beyond the legal limit in California which led to him being taken into custody by the authorities.

Asked for comment prior to the charges, the "How Many Drinks" singer said, "I'm a human being just like the next person. There's no real word that I'm guilty of that, and that's all I have to say about it. The rest will be handled legally." To his credit, the cops did report that the artist was fully cooperative throughout the whole ordeal.

Friday, 16 August 2013

The 'Adorn' singer originally is pulled over for speeding and illegal tinted windows, but the police notice the smell of alcohol in his car.

Miguel has been arrested in Los Angeles for driving under influence of alcohol. A spokesperson for California Highway Patrol Corina Munoz told Los Angeles Times that an officer pulled over Miguel's car on early Thursday morning, August 15, in the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Mindaneo Way.

Justin Bieber Cleared in Paparazzo Hit-and-Run Case

Thursday, 1 August 2013

The 'Never Say Never' singer won't be charged for allegedly hitting a photographer when leaving a comedy club last month.
Justin Bieber is off the hook in a paparazzo hit-an-run case. Prosecutors decide not to file charges against the teen singer because there was "insufficient evidence to prove that Bieber knowingly left the scene of a collision in which someone was injured."

Bieber allegedly hit a photographer with his sports car when leaving the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles on June 17. In a video from the scene, he was actually seen motioning the shutterbugs to clear out of the way but they apparently did not step aside fast enough.

Michael Jackson's Sex Abuse Case May Be Revisited During Trial in Lawsuit Against AEG Live

Friday, 22 March 2013

Katherine Jackson and Michael's two teen children Paris and Prince have all been called to sit for deposition before the trial begins on April 2.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos sets rules for the upcoming trial in Katherine Jackson's lawsuit against AEG Live. AEG's team is allowed to revisit events preceding Michael Jackson's death in 2009, including the issue of child molestation charges against the singer.

The judge apparently agrees with the concert promoter's lawyers that the sex abuse case may be relevant to MJ's history of drug abuse and despondency, while Katherine's attorneys argued it should not be brought up again because the late King of Pop was acquitted on all counts.

In the pre-trial hearing, the judge also says the plaintiffs, Michael's mother Katherine and children Paris, Prince and Blanket, could be called as witnesses. Dr. Conrad Murray who was convicted involuntary manslaughter of the singer's death could also be asked to testify, despite the plaintiffs' objection.

Katherine and her grandchildren from Michael sued AEG Live for millions of dollars, accusing the company of negligently hiring Murray and failing to properly supervise him during his duty of caring for the singer ahead of his "This Is It" concert series. MJ died from an anesthetic overdose before the gig was kicked off.

Before the case goes to trial on April 2, Katherine and her teen grandchildren have been called sit for deposition by AEG's lawyers. They also wanted to depose Blanket, who was only 6 when Michael died, but his doctor argued it would be "medically detrimental" to him.

Prince, 16, was deposed earlier this month. The family's lawyers complained that AEG's team asked irrelevant and repetitive personal questions designed "to agitate the boy, creating serious concern among his guardians and attorneys," but the defendants insisted they only asked "legitimate questions appropriate to a wrongful death suit."

The Jackson's lawyers also had objection to the questioning of Katherine, 82. The family matriarch was allegedly interviewed for nine hours over three days and AEG's lawyers are still asking for a fourth chance. The attorneys representing the family believed the session could have been easily done in two or three hours.

Paris was being questioned Thursday, March 21. She was spotted wearing a blue top, jeans, and brown Ugg boots. Her co-guardian, TJ Jackson, was seen accompanying her.

Bobby Brown Begins Serving 55-Day Jail Sentence for DUI

Thursday, 21 March 2013

Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown handed himself over to authorities in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 20. He was taken into Van Nuys, California courtroom to serve a nearly two-month jail sentence following his most recent driving under the influence conviction.

"It happened without incident. He was quiet. He just went in," a source inside the custody told the Daily News. The father of Bobbi Kristina Brown appeared with his high-powered attorney Tiffany Feder.

Brown will possibly serve no more than nine days in county jail due to jail overcrowding, time off for good behavior and credit for "good time work time." Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said, "The time expected, all things being equal, is about eight days. But he could get out in a matter of days and go on electronic monitoring. It's really tough to say exactly."

Lawyer Christopher Brown released a statement regarding his client's decision to turn himself in as ordered. "Mr. Brown has accepted responsibility for what occurred last October," he said. Brown, who pleaded no contest to the charges, will be under four years of informal probation and must complete an 18-month alcohol treatment program following his release. "Mr. Brown continues to remain committed to his sobriety," the lawyer added. "Mr. Brown is pleased that the matter has been resolved."

Brown was sentenced to 55 days in prison and four years probation in February after being arrested and charged for his third DUI in October 2012. The 44-year-old singer was pulled over for driving erratically and was arrested in Studio City, California after the officer detected "a strong scent of alcohol."

Liam Hemsworth Returns to Australia to 'Have a Break' From Miley Cyrus

Saturday, 9 March 2013

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are indeed having a break, a source claims. The Aussie actor reportedly is back home Down Under, while his singer/actress fiancee is in the United States out and about still without her engagement ring.

Miley was first spotted ditching the ring when leaving a recording studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 6. She was once again seen leaving the diamond ring at home when going out with her male friend Paul Khoury who was initially reported as "mystery man" by many media outlets.

"Miley is still upset with Liam," the source tells PEOPLE, without specifying the reason why she's so angry at her fiance. "She took the ring off to make him mad." Though so, "It doesn't mean that they have split. Miley says they are still together."

"Miley is crazy about Liam, but sometimes doesn't treat him great," the source adds, hinting at what could possibly draw them apart. "She likes things her way and tends to play games. Liam is also a strong person and that's why they often butt heads."

The problem between the couple became apparent when they partied separately during the Oscar weekend. They were rumored breaking up after he was spotted overly friendly with actress January Jones at an Oscar after-party and leaving the bash in the same car.

"January was clinging to Liam," a guest at the private party claimed to Life & Style. "He kept saying, 'We can't do this here.' Then they left holding hands and went out in the hallway and were making out. She was wasted. It wasn't good."

While "The Hunger Games" actor and the "Unknown (2011)" actress remained mum about their hookup report, a different source insisted they're just friends. "[They] used to go clubbing together in L.A. They have been friends for a while," said the insider.

Miley herself took to Twitter to deny mounting rumor that she called off her wedding, "I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding," announcing her break from Twitter, "Taking a break from social media. #draining."

Lisa Ling Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Jett

TV journalist Lisa Ling, 39, and her oncologist husband Paul Song, 41, welcomed their daughter Jett Ling Song on March 8 at 1:24 P.M. in Santa Monica, California. The healthy baby girl weighed in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces.

The couple, who got married on May 26, 2007 in Los Angeles, could not hide their excitement about the arrival of their first child. "We feel so blessed that this day has arrived," Lisa told Us Weekly. "We're nervously excited to begin this next chapter in our lives with our little Jett."

Lisa's rep told PEOPLE that the couple could not wait to bring the baby home soon, saying, "Lisa and Jett are resting comfortably. The proud parents are enjoying the first day of parenthood and are looking forward to bringing their daughter home."

Lisa once suffered a devastating miscarriage in 2010. "I felt more like a failure than I'd felt in a very long time," Lisa spoke out about her miscarriage on "The View". "When I heard the doctor say there was no heartbeat it was like bam, like a knife through the heart."

Fortunately, the special correspondent for CNN made it through her latest pregnancy complication-free. Lisa told Kit Hoover and Billy Bush during a late-October appearance on "Access Hollywood Live" that her pregnancy was "completely normal" that it made her feel "very, very lucky."

Kim Kardashian Is Fine Despite Miscarriage Scare

Friday, 8 March 2013

Pregnant Kim Kardashian was reported going straight to a hospital in Los Angeles right after returning from Paris on late Tuesday night, March 7. A source told New York Post's Page Six about the details, "Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed. She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage."

Fortunately, the four-month-pregnant E! star was informed that she and her baby were both okay. She was sent home at 12:30 A.M. after being examined and given the all-clear.

However, the sister of Kourtney Kardashian was given a stern warning to rest by the doctors. The minor pain Kim suffered, according to the source, occurred because "Kim's not respecting her pregnancy." Rigorous exercise and a tight working schedule were said to be the reasons behind it. "She's running around, working out seven days a week," the source said. "She's working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer."

The source added that Kim, who is reportedly due to give birth in July, was actually in a desperate attempt to lose some weight after being criticized by public that she's now ballooning, saying, "She's scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south. But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down."

On the other hand, another source told New York Daily News' Confidential, claiming that rigorous exercise and tight schedule had nothing to do with Kim's stomach pains. "It had nothing to do with her working out schedule," the source said. "In fact, staying active has helped Kim's energy level stay more consistent. The first two months drained her considerably . . . her working out schedule had absolutely nothing to do with the pain she experienced."

Instead, the source blamed the miscarriage scare on her divorce case which caused Kim to be stressed out. "Her sleep has been really off and she's been extremely stressed with the court case and the pending trial with Kris," the source said.

Despite rumors about reasons behind the pains, Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian Odom assured fans that she is fine. She tweeted, "Thank you for your concern," and posted a link to her blog where she wrote, "A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful fans and loved ones for your concern and support. We love you!"
