Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's baby daughter North welcomed her first set of visitors since her arrival two weeks ago in the person of family friends Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles. Hov and Bey reportedly splurged a jaw-dropping 5,000 pounds on designer gifts but it's considered a drop in the bucket for a superstar couple of their stature.

Among the pricey gifts were allegedly a pair of Christian Dior baby booties and a three-piece sterling silver Elsa Peretti Padova baby set inscribed with the baby's name. Having had a baby girl themselves, Mr. & Mrs. Carter were expected to have no trouble deciding on which gifts to get North.

The couple supposedly brought the expensive presents over to Kris Jenner's Beverly Hills home where Kimye and baby will be staying for the time being. According to an insider, they brought Blue Ivy along for the visit so she could also meet North, potentially her future BFF being that their parents are close friends.

This was apparently not the first time Hov & Bey gifted North with some pretty extravagant items. Last month, the couple already spent 9,000 pounds on a Swarovski crystal-studded high chair designed by Carla Monchen which they gave as their baby shower gift. Apart from the baby stuff, Bey also gave Kim K. some helpful tips on how to lose the extra pounds and get back to her curvaceous figure.

A new report claims that a different frontrunner for the Kimye baby has emerged — Khrist. As in, “Christ with a K,” according to Naughty But Nice Rob.“Kanye likes the name Khrist,” an insider says. The source is also smart to point out that Kanye has a new single coming out titled, “I Am a God,” so blasphemy isn’t really an obstacle for him: “I know it is shocking, but let’s remember that this is a guy that is naming his new CD, ‘I Am A God.’ So it makes perfect sense that the child of a god would be named Christ with a K.”

Kanye West reportedly has already had a name picked for his child, while his baby mama wants to decorate the baby's room with chic monochrome colors.

As Kim Kardashian's due date is getting closer, more rumors ahead surrounding her baby with Kanye West swirl on the web. It's reported that the rapper wants to call his first child North West while the reality TV star is preparing a monochrome nursery for the bundle of joy.

"Kanye's ego is something else, so he's quite serious about the title," a source tells The Sun. "He also has a sense of humor though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It's half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true."

A different source opens up to PEOPLE about Kim's black and white nursery plan. "Kim was gushing about her nursery plans while carefully selecting gifts for her baby registry with sisters Khloe and Kourtney at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood," the source claims. "She mainly looked at simple clothing, nothing too girly."

Kim is due to give birth in early July. The mom-to-be sparked a pregnancy scare earlier this month after being rushed to hospital following a couple of trips overseas with her baby daddy. She quickly assured she was fine and has been out and about ever since.
