Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has admitted he is considering his future at the club after falling down the pecking order at the Bernabeu.

Spain international Casillas has featured just twice for Real since fracturing his hand in January, with Diego Lopez preferred by both Jose Mourinho and new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The 32-year-old has enjoyed much success with Real in his career, winning five La Liga titles and two UEFA Champions League crowns.

The Chelsea manager believes his Real Madrid successor Carlo Ancelotti should pick the Spain international to play against Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho believes Iker Casillas should replace Diego Lopez in the Real Madrid goal for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

The Portuguese coach raised eyebrows during his stint at the Santiago Bernabeu when he controversially dropped Casillas in favour of Lopez.

The 31-year-old insists the club captain must be given full backing against Galatasaray in midweek after he was once more left on the bench against Villarreal on Saturday.

Diego Lopez has stressed that Iker Casillas has his full support after Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed he will restore the Spain No.1 to the team against Galatasaray.

Lopez was once more preferred for los Merengues' 2-2 draw with Villarreal on Saturday and the former Sevilla man continued his excellent run of form as Casillas watched on from the bench.

The Barcelona president claims their bitter rivals were attempting to snap up the player even as he signed a contract with the Blaugrana, and ruled out a move for Iker Casillas.

Barcelona club president Sandro Rosell has revealed that rivals Real Madrid tried to convince Neymar to move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer right until the eleventh hour.

The Brazilian forward sealed a €57 million switch to Camp Nou after making it clear he favoured a move to the Liga champions, but that did not prevent los Blancos from attempting to disrupt negotiations even when the contract was being signed, according to Rosell.
