Juventus squad for Real Madrid

Juventus have named their 20-man squad for the match against Real Madrid on Tuesday, and will be without Giorgio Chiellini.

The defender was given his marching orders at Santiago Bernabeu two weeks’ ago, having been adjudged to have elbowed Cristiano Ronaldo.

As such, the Italy international will miss the return fixture tomorrow. The Bianconeri though, welcome back Fabio Quagliarella to the squad.

Chiellini: 'No Prandelli to Juve'

Giorgio Chiellini laughed off rumours linking Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli to Juventus and defended Mario Balotelli.

The defender spoke at a Press conference at the Coverciano training ground after last night’s 2-2 World Cup qualifier in Denmark.

“The next game with Armenia will not be pointless, as we want to end the campaign unbeaten,” said Chiellini.

Juventus To Rebuff Real Madrid Offer For Defender

Real Madrid are preparing a bid for Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini, although the Turin side consider the player to be ‘unsellable’ and are not interested in discussing a transfer.

Los Blancos have reignited their interest in the 28-year-old after failing to capture the former Livorno and Fiorentina man in previous transfer windows.

Carlo Ancelotti is thought to be interested in Chiellini thanks to his versatility and ability to play at both centre-back and left-back and would like to line him up as a possible replacement for Fabio Coentrao should the Portuguese leave Madrid.
