Inter’s Nagatomo: Honda And I Share Dreams And Goals

Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo has spoken about his compatriot Keisuke Honda’s imminent move to cross-town rivals AC Milan, stating he is looking forward to taking on his friend in the Serie A.

Nagatomo is now in his fourth season with the Biscione, while Honda is due to complete his long-anticipated free transfer to the Rossoneri from Russian side CSKA Moscow in January.

The two 27-year-old’s made their international debuts for Japan in 2008, going on to play alongside one another over 50 times for the Samurai blues, but will soon go head to head in one of the fiercest derbies in world football.

Champions League: Joe Hart will be on Manchester City bench again

Joe Hart's hopes of a swift end to his misery at Manchester City have been dashed by confirmation from manager Manuel Pellegrini that he will remain on the bench against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

The England goalkeeper lost his club place on Saturday after his mistake at Chelsea the previous week proved one too many in an error-prone season.

Hart could only watch as City crushed Norwich 7-0 - a game in which Costel Pantilimon had little to do - but Pellegrini confirmed the Romanian will start again when CSKA visit the Etihad on Tuesday.

CSKA Moscow to have part of ground closed over racist chants aimed at Yaya Toure

UEFA will close one section of CSKA Moscow's ground for their Champions League match against Bayern Munich on 27 November due to the racist behaviour of their fans.

The Russian side were charged after their supporters were accused of racist chanting aimed at Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure on 23 October.

The Ivory Coast international complained during and after the match about the racist abuse but CSKA have disputed the accuracy of his claims.

Toure has called for anyone else who saw the abuse from the home fans to come forward after Ivory Coast team-mate Seydou Doumbia says he never made any comments over than what appeared in the club website.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has remained defiant in his complaint over his allegation of being racially abused by the CSKA Moscow fans by claiming “I am not deaf”.

Toure has called for anyone else to have seen the abuse to come forward, while Uefa have confirmed that they are investigating why referee Ovidiu Hategan failed to follow the protocol for dealing with such incidents, as well as charging the Russian club with “racist behaviour of their fans”.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure called on UEFA to take action against CSKA Moscow after he was subjected to racist chanting during his team’s 2-1 win in the Champions League.

The Ivory Coast player said he had told match referee Ovidiu Hategan about the chants during the game in the Russian capital.

“It is quite disappointing,” Toure said. “It is unbelievable and really, really sad to hear songs like that.”

No Kompany for City in Moscow

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of Wednesday's Champions League tie at CSKA Moscow after failing to recover from a thigh injury.

Kompany missed Saturday's Premier League win at West Ham and Belgium's recent World Cup qualifiers after suffering the thigh problem against Everton earlier this month.
