AC Milan's Mario Balotelli set to miss clash with Barcelona

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli risks missing next week's Champions League meeting with Barcelona after sustaining a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old Italy international has missed three consecutive league games through suspension and will now sit out a fourth - against Udinese on Saturday - due to an "astus intermedius muscle injury to the right thigh".

Balotelli Remains With Italy Squad Ahead Of Armenia Match

Mario Balotelli will remain with the Italian national team despite his fitness woes ahead of the Azzurri’s match against Armenia on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old was not on the bench or in the stands for last night’s 2-2 draw against Denmark due to illness.

However he returned to training on Saturday in Florence but did not last long as he left the field soon after.
