Sami Khedira injured 'severely'

Real Madrid and Germany could be without Sami Khedira for an extended period, with the midfielder taken to hospital for treatment after suffering a knee injury during Friday's 1-1 draw in Italy.

Khedira collided with Italy's Andrea Pirlo in the 67th minute and was carried off the pitch with a suspected knee problem.
