Conte hails 'incredible' Quagliarella

The Bianconeri boss credited his side's victory at the Tardini to the forward, while revealing that several key players will be unavailable for Tuesday's clash with Real Madrid.

uventus coach Antonio Conte was effusive in his praise of 'super-sub' Fabio Quagliarella following the striker's performance in Saturday's 1-0 win at Parma.

The former Napoli forward, who has not been assured a first-team place at the Bianconeri this season, made a big impact after coming off the bench at the Tardini, as it was his effort that struck the crossbar and then fell invitingly for Paul Pogba to slot home the winner.

Donadoni has Parma-Juve regrets



Roberto Donadoni has regrets over Parma’s defeat to Juventus. “We put in the performance and ran few risks.”

Paul Pogba secured the 1-0 result when turning in a Fabio Quagliarella shot off the crossbar.

Massimiliano Allegri admits he was disappointed with Mario Balotelli's performance in AC Milan's 3-2 defeat to Parma on Sunday.

The mercurial striker struggled to make an impact as the home side focused their defensive efforts on frustrating his involvement, with a yellow card for diving the sum total of his efforts before he was withdrawn for Alessandro Matri shortly after half-time.

Totti helps Roma maintain perfect start

Goals from Alessandro Florenzi, Francesco Totti and Kevin Strootman, from the penalty spot, moved Roma joint top of Italy's Serie A thanks to a 3-1 win over Parma on Monday.

With three wins in as many games and level on goal difference with Napoli, Roma sit just behind Rafael Benitez's leaders but two points ahead of Inter, Fiorentina and champions Juventus following draws for all three at the weekend.

Roma travelled north feeling confident having lost just once to Parma in their last 14 league encounters, and with the carrot of moving ahead of more authentic title contenders should they win.
